    ould you advice about rabies vaccineation ?

    Five post-exposure vaccinations were completed in April 2022(from 13MARCH to 10APRIL).

     

    1.post-exposure  rabies  vaccineation >>> 8JUL 2022 AND 11JJUL 2022

     

    2. post-exposure  rabies vaccineation(booster ) >>> 4AUG 2022 

     

    3.post-exposure  rabies vaccineation(booster) >>> 7SEP 2022

     

    -------DOG BITE AGAIN ON 19SEP-----

     

    Do I need post-exposure  rabies  vaccineation(booseter) ?

     

    I already completed about tetanus injection.

    สวัสดีค่ะ คุณ HIKORO,

                        If you received completed five post-exposure vaccinations in April 2022, you will have antibody to protect the disease about 1 year. 

                        In Jul 2022, you got booster dose, (2 doses), then again booster 1 dose in Aug 2022, and booster 1 dose in Sep 2022, so you have antibody to protect the disease long at least 1 year from 7 Sep 2022

                        Then in 19 Sep 2022, if dog bited you, it is not necessary to get booster dose anymore, because your body now have high level of antibody to protect the rabies.

                        However, if you have wound, you should care your wound to prevent bacterial infection. You should wash wound and skin around the wound with soap. Dry it. It have antibiotic cream or lotion, apple it. The wrapping the wound, use a sterile dressing or bandage. Change wrapping every day. Don't get your wound wet until it heal.
