    for example

     

    case of  small scratch and not deerp scratch (little bleeding)

     

     Five post-exposure vaccinations were completed in December 2019.

     

    Nov 2020  1 rabies vaccineation( not accident) , just booster for rabies prevention in the future,

     

    ※history of Rabies vaccination

    Total 5shot( December 2019) + 1shot (1Nov 2020 ) = 6 shot vaccinations

     

    and

     

    If 

    10Jan 2021 exposure (accident)>>>Do I need a vacination?

    Hello elvachanchanchan,

                    If mammal bite or scratch and and you get small abration wound with little bleeding, so infection of rabies may be possible.

                    If you get five post-exposure vaccinations in December 2019 and in Nov 2020,  you get 1 booster dose of vaccination for rabies, so you now have immunity for protect rabies prolong to about 2-3 years.

                   Then in 10 Jan 2021, if you get exposure to rabies, you not need to get booster dose. But in the future, if you have frequent chance of  exposure to mammal, you should get 1 booster dose every 2 or 3 years. And during the time, you not need to get any booster dose.
