If I recieved vaccination three days ago and have been licked by cat at face today, should I go get another vaccination around face area?

Sawadee Krap
Could you advvice me about Rabies Vaccine?
I recived Rbies Vaccine many time, It was Intramuscular injection.
Normaly Rabies vaccine is into skin or Intramuscular injection.
in case of Intramuscular injection, Deltoid muscle of arm. also me too.
I found on website, one of thai hospital said ,if cat lick or scratch or bite youe face area, vaccineation should be into mouth or lips. because, it is near brain.
Doctor, is it correct?
My last vaccineation on 10 and 13May 2021. It was Intramuscular injection. Cat licked my eye on 16May. But just 3days from on 13may. Do i need one more injection? and it should be my mouth or lips , not Intramuscular injection?
eye is very near brain , I am so scared Rabies.
Best regards

Hi,ELVATAAN
If your last vaccination was on 10 and 13 May and you've been exposed to cat's saliva on 16 May, there might be no need to recieve another vaccination right away because usually vaccination lasts at a very high level within first 2-4 weeks after recieving it.
The site of injection should be at deltoid muscle or subcutaneous tissue anywhere usually at abdomen or arm. However, if the wound were extensive at face area which is close to the brain and patient never recieved any rabies vaccination before, it is advised that some amout of vaccination should also be injected at wound area as well.
But in your case, if it was just the licking with no extensive wound and you also just recieved vaccination few days before, there might be no need to get another vaccine either at deltoid or in the face area.
